Opportunities to serve as a Volunteer with PF: ANGEL TREE

Coordinators
Locations: In most areas of NSW Urgent need in Hunter, South West, Western and Canberra regions
Role: To mobilize sponsors and delivery of gifts within (primarily) their area
Time required: August–January. More intense October-December.
Sponsors
Locations: In every area of the state
Role: To purchase a suggested gift for the nominated child/ren of an inmate and deliver (or post) the gift. Sponsors are expected to pray for the child, the carer and the inmate. Sponsors may offer ongoing contact and support to the family. Sponsors my also minister to the carer/s if they feel there is a need and willingness of the carer.
Time required: Beginning December, but the prayer and follow-up may last some time.
Administration Assistance
Location: At the Toongabbie office
Role: To assist to do telephone contact with the carers, as part of the project procedures.
Time: One or two days during October and November.
