Opportunities to serve as a Volunteer with PF: TRANSITION PROGRAMS
- Mentoring: Volunteers are required who are willing to be mentors to those being released from custody. There is a required commitment to specific training as well as a minimum 12 months commitment to mentoring. The mentoring relationship begins prior to the inmate’s release and continues through the transition phase. There is a need to work with other service providers, including Probation and Parole, Chaplains, local churches, etc.
