About Prison Fellowship in Victoria
Prison Fellowship Victoria was formed in 1982 and is part of the worldwide transdenominational Christian organization, Prison Fellowship International.
Our vision is to bring hope to the lives of prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families by sharing God’s love with them in word and action modelled on the example of Jesus Christ.
Nearly 200 Christian volunteers form the backbone of our ministry. They are drawn from churches of all denominations and traditions.
There are three main expressions of the ministry although volunteers are active in many other areas:

Communities of Restoration - a series of programs and initiatives assisting to rehabiliate prisoners; and

Extraordinary Lives – working with the children of prisoners.
